CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

We are a registered charity (No. 500509) as The League of Friends of The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and as such operate within the strict rules laid down by the charity commissioners, which can be accessed through the Charity Commission Website.

The trustees of the charity are unpaid volunteers. They manage the affairs of the charity in accordance with the constitution copies of which may be obtained from the organising secretary :- 01743 261007

Great efforts are made to ensure that the composition of the twenty one person managing committee represents a broad cross section of the community in which we operate and the available talent within it. This is including – business disciplines, finance, medical experience and lay people. We also aim to achieve a balanced gender split.
