League of Friends donate £32,000 to buy three state-of the-art eye screening cameras The Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust have been presented with new screening equipment designed to prevent sight-threatening eye disease in patients. The League of Friends of the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital raised the sum through the annual draw with the winners drawn by Daniel Kawczynski, MP for Shrewsbury and Atcham, and Ray Smith, Executive Chairman of the Friends. Congratulations to our marvellous volunteers and helpers for gaining a five star Environmental Health award for all of our four shops within the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. All profits from our shops are invested back into Hospital equipment which is greatly improving patient care for many patients.
